Nox Health receives foreign investment

Nox Health, one of the worlds largest and leading sleep health companies and Icelandic knowledge and innovation company, recently announced an investment from Vestar Capital Partners, a U.S. middle-market private equity firm. The investment will speed up the development of the companies sleep diagnostic technology and services and the implementation of the comprehensive sleep management solutions Nox Health offers.

Nox Health’s goal is to improve the health of populations through better sleep. Every year, more than three million people in 50 countries use Nox Health’s products and services. Arctic Therapeutics receives funding from The Europe­an Innovati­on Council (EIC)

The Europe­an Innovati­on Council (EIC) has granted Arctic Therapeutics, an Icelandic genetics and bio technology company, 12,5 million euros or 1,9 billion Icelandic kronur. This is the largest funding the EIC has ever granted to an Icelandic company

The funds will be used to begin the next stage development on the company's new drug for hereditary cerebral amyloid angiopathy, Icelandic type. Arctic Therapeutics' studies also demonstrates the effectiveness of the drug against dementia of other causes, including Alzheimer's disease. See more on mbl.is.
